Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Wizcard (“Wizcard,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Wizcard website, applications, and related services (the “Service”). It applies to visitors, account holders, and people who chat with a WIZ. If you do not agree with this policy, do not use the Service.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Account information — such as your name and email address when you sign up.
- Knowledge base content — the information, text, and materials you submit to build and operate your WIZ.
- Conversations — messages exchanged with a WIZ, including questions asked by people you share your link with and the responses generated.
- Communications — information you provide when you contact us for support.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data — such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and interactions with the Service, collected through cookies and similar technologies and through analytics providers.
2. How We Use Information
- to provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service;
- to generate WIZ responses from the knowledge base you provide and to deliver them to people you share your link with;
- to authenticate accounts and keep the Service secure;
- to respond to your requests and provide support;
- to analyze usage and develop new features; and
- to comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. AI Processing
Wizcard uses third-party AI model providers to generate WIZ responses. Knowledge base content and conversation messages may be transmitted to these providers to produce responses. We do not sell your information, and we do not authorize our AI providers to use your content to train their general-purpose models except as needed to provide the Service.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information:
- With service providers — hosting, AI model, analytics, and infrastructure vendors who process information on our behalf;
- As directed by you — for example, WIZ responses are shared with the people you choose to share your link with;
- For legal reasons — to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, safety, and property of Wizcard, our users, or others; and
- In a business transfer — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
5. Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.
6. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your information as described below.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), gives you the right to:
- know what personal information we collect and how we use it;
- access a copy of your personal information;
- request deletion of your personal information;
- correct inaccurate personal information; and
- not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights.
We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise your rights, contact us at privacy@wizcard.ai. We will verify your request before responding and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
9. Do Not Track
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no common industry standard for these signals, we do not currently respond to them.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International Users
We operate in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
